Levi Strauss just paid $46,532 for a pair of jeans they manufactured in the 1880s. They're thought to be the oldest in existance. Even so, that's a lot of change for a pair of jeans. Which, of course, has me scheming. I've probably got a pair in a bag somewhere manufactured in the 1980s. I think I'll put 'em on Ebay and well how I do. "Actual Levi's from the 1980s. Soiled with malt liquor, missing a back pocket and sporting a nasty set of ragged cuffs. the bidding starts at four hundred dollars."
