Just in time…

…for compete.com being featured at "tonight’s TechCrunch Party in NYC," the folks over at Compete wrapped in the new design for their snapshot bubbles. I spent a good part of last week doing getting the JS and CSS for the new bubble ready for prime time so it's cool to see it in place so quickly.

I think it looks great (*pats self on back*)

A new site I worked on is live – Compete.com

Compete just launched their new search and Snapshot services.

I prototyped the xHMTL and CSS for the search app and coded up both the generic and Ajax tooltips in use throughout both sites. It was an extremely fun project to work on. All of the folks over at Compete are cool, working with Tom is always a pleasure and the actual project itself was fun as heck as I got to do a lot of things I actually like to do on this project (as opposed to things that just pay the bills.)

Bloglines Gets all Ajax-y

They went and added some async updating to their feed list, complete with a semi-transparent notifier and little yellow fade effect.

It makes for a slightly smoother user experience.
