A Nice Opening Tonight

Tonight was the opening of the JPAA show at the State House. The turnout was great, Representative Sanchez was a gracious host and the art was a fun, vibrant mix of styles. All in all it's a great show.

Here I am, in front of my art, in all my smiling glory:

Who am I to say what's fresh or not?

Three Current and Upcoming Shows (Plus, My Art Ended up On Boston.com)

I just thought I should officially point out some shows I've got going on over the next few months. I'm hoping this list is incomplete, actually, but there are some other things that are still in limbo so who knows. Anyway here's what I've got going on:

Also, as I teased in the title of this post, my art was featured in Boston.com's coverage of the HPAA show. That was actually pretty cool.

Exposing the Inner Workings of my Artistic Process (Really, that's what I've been doing. I'm NOT just crazy.)

If you've been paying attention you'll have noticed I've been doing a lot of really raw art posts recently.

This one very much continues that trend.

I'm just working through a lot of ideas I have for my current canvas work, so it's a little different than my regular blog output.

Hope you don't mind too much. there will be some more recognizable art coming later on, in case you're jonesing for something a little less abstract and fitful.

As Promised, Regular Letters

There will be more scribbling, don't you fret.
