Tar + Get = Hey T! It's Spring, We Can Paint Outside Without Losing Fingers!

I started with the E in the GET and then worked backwards, adding a T, then a G and then realizing I could do a diptych if I started in on another piece of paper. All of which allows me to remind Target himself that we can paint now that the weather has thawed. Sweet.

Ps and Qs

First a sketch, then a bit of explanation (and a youtube video)

One of the things I always struggle with is explaining where the words and/or punchlines come from in sketches. Most of the time I just don't know. Something, for some reason, pops into my head and then onto the page it goes. Here, at least, I can explain, in full detail, at least part of this one.

Sketch + Sketch (Two For the Price of One)

I'm Johnny Relaxed right now. Friday night, I played a bunch of God of War 2 (I never finished it and I've got to get ready for God of War III), read an old issue of Giant Robot featuring an interview with the Katamari series designer Keita Takahashi. Last night, we went to see Ghost Writer, I played more God of War and read a bunch of Arabs: a History.
