He's Always Been My Senator. Rest In Peace, Ted Kennedy
This is a sad day. He's going to be missed.
I've only known a world where Ted Kennedy was my Senator. This is uncharted territory for me.
I wonder if his replacement will ever feel so much like our guy. Kennedy was. Personally, I stared at his father's name on the wall of my high school growing up, so there was a connection there that the next guy might not have. Kerry certainly doesn't.
He was a great friend to the Russian emigre community and one of the people directly responsible for my growing up here instead of fighting in Afghanistan or Chechnya. Thank you Mr. Kennedy, from the bottom of my heart. We've lost a champion of progressives everywhere. He will be missed in Mass. and beyond…
