One Down, (it feels like) One Billion to Go

My presentation tonight (ppt), was a lot of fun. I wish I could do that stuff all the time.

Now that that's out of the way, I've got to

  • Move into my new studio
  • Get my art ready for the FutureArts show May 16th
  • Finish up my Citizen Schools apprenticeship (we're working on the mural now- so cool!)
  • Finish up a big-time project at work

All the while I'll have on eye on the Giro and another eye on Swine Flu outbreaks as I'm supposed to travel to Italy at the end of the month.

With the exception of worrying about the Swine Flu, it should be a lot of fun. And hopefully we can dodge a bullet with that particular worry.

An Old Tag

This image has been sitting on my desktop for about a year. I think MES sent it to me.

Now, I share it with you:

(and YES, this is a final test of that wordpress plugin)

There'll be real content tomorrow.

Yes, I'm Testing Changes to a Plugin

I could set up a fake Twitter account to post to, but that seems like way too much work to make a few minor changes to a plugin.

Oh, what am I doing? I'm hacking Ingoal's Twitter Updater to use Google Analytics campaign tracking so I can accurately measure the number of hits Twitter actually generates.

Am I insane, testing this live? Yes. But that's half the fun.

As a note, after running through this for a few minutes I'm thinking I'm going to write my own version. Which means I really will switch over to a fake Twitter account and my dev blog for the rest of this development cycle.

I'm Still Messing About. Here's Another Video.

To make up for it, here's the "Rap Chop" a brilliant Slap Chop remix
