Not much of a surprise here
New Al Jazeera Web site runs into headaches.
Between patriotic script kiddies DoS attacking the site and people trying to get a look at the POW footage, the odds have to have been pretty good that the Al Jazeera site would be running into problems right about now. I wish the English version were running. I would be extremely interested in seeing exactly what the word on that side of the fence is there days. I say exactly because I know that it's terrible*, I'm just not sure how it's being expressed
*I saw USA approval ratings in some Arab countries hovering around the low teens this week. As in 85% of such-and-such a country hates us right now. A radio commentator actually was surprised at that result. I was surprised that they could still find 15% of the population that was willing to give us a break.
